After two years spent in the cloud forests of Costa Rica, Trevor Ritland is now a masters candidate in documentary studies at Northern Arizona University. His passion for crafting creative and engaging environmental narratives permeates the mediums of filmmaking, audio storytelling, and photojournalism, and he is a dedicated adventurer consistently looking for new stories to tell in exciting ways. Trevor is the co-founder of Adventure Term, a nonprofit experiential education organization that trains the next generation of environmental storytellers; his stories and photos have been published in Mongabay and Blue Ridge Outdoors.
